With births to adolescents in the US on the rise for the second year in a row, The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) reaffirms its position that every teen should be provided with comprehensive, scientifically accurate sex education and that access to contraception services should be available to all teens. ACOG supports the National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy on May 6, 2009, and other efforts to draw attention to and reduce the rate of teen pregnancy.
